Road America Announces Driving School by Road America 6/7/2010 Elkhart Lake, WI (June 7, 2010) - Road America and Drive For Life Driving School have partnered to offer the Road America Driving School (RADS), an advanced, defensive driving school for licensed drivers. The program combines classroom instruction and behind-the-wheel exercises on Road America's contained, off- street range. Range exercises include vehicle dynamics, skid prevention and control, braking maneuvers and emergency lane changes. "We're thrilled to partner with Road America, the most recognized race track in the county," said Craig Sletten of Drive For Life, "Together, we are striving to make safer drivers by offering an affordable program for both teens and adults." RADS is taught by professional instructors using school-supplied vehicles. The one-day, seven- hour program costs $375; program participants may also qualify for insurance discounts upon completion.
