Over $30,000 up for grabs at Slingers Miller Lite Spring Opener

(Slinger, WI) April 16, 2006 - Sunday Afternoon April 23rd Slinger
Speedway racers will be chasing over $30,000 in cash. The lion’s share
of the purse will be awarded to the racers in the Miller Lite Twin 75 lap Late
Model features. Joining the Late Models will be the Midwest Modified and
Midwest Sportsman divisions. Gates will open at Noon, time trials at
1:00 pm, and racing at 2:00 pm.
Tony Strupp from T&M Landscaping will be awarding lap money for each of
the 75 lap Miller Lite Features. Lap leaders of the first Miller Lite 75
will get an extra $5 per lap lead. In the second Miller Lite 75 the
leader of lap 1 will get $25, lap 37 $50, and lap 75 $50. Check out

April 23rd will also give all adult fans the opportunity to pickup their 2006
Slinger Speedway Card and have it validated! Get your Speedway card
punched that day and come back Sunday afternoon April 30 with your card and
get $3 off your adult general admission price. You can continue
this all summer and save $3 every night. If you are out of town and miss
a night don't worry, you can come back the following week and still get your
$3 discount. If you miss two weeks in a row you will need to start over.
Slinger Speedway Cards are FREE and will be available at the track the day of
the race or you can get them at the office Monday through Friday from 9:00 am
– 5:00 pm.
Saturday April 22, 2006 fans will have the opportunity to view all the
divisions of competition for the 2006-racing season during the Annual Practice
Day. All Slinger Speedway divisions will practice by class from Noon to
4:00 pm. General admission on practice day is free.
