Bickle Enters Miller Lite Twin 75's

(Milwaukee, WI) Edgerton, WI native and NASCAR driver Rich Bickle will be making his first late model appearance of the 2006 season, on Sunday April 23rd, during the Miller Lite Twin 75's at Slinger Speedway.

Bickle a 2 time Slinger Speedway Track Champion and 3 time Miller Lite Nationals Champion, has never captured the elusive Twin 75's, as he headlines a star studded field weekend with veteran Slinger drivers Brad Mueller, Conrad Morgan, Al Schill, Lowell Bennett and some of ASALM Series’ Young Guns and Slinger regulars Travis Dassow, Andrew Morrisey, Ken Wills, Jeff Van Oudenhoven and Nick Schumacher and many more at the quarter mile speed plant.

Bickle who has made very limited limited appearances the past few seasons.  Will hit the Midwest circuit once again in 2006 running a limited number super late model specials throughout the season. He also tentatively plans to run several ASA Late Model Series Challenge and Northern events later in 2006. A series where Bickle has only seen runner-up finishes and finished the 1989 season second in Rookie of the Year Points, after a season long battle with now known talk show host and Craftsmen Truck Series driver Johnny Benson Jr., during the now defunct ASA National Tour.

The World’s Fastest Quarter Mile Oval will be kicking off it’s 60th season of racing with open practice on Saturday April 22nd, for all divisions. Gates will open on Sunday April 23rd at Noon, with Time Trails at 1pm. Racing will get under way at 2pm.
