Shawano Speedway Announces Payout For Two Nights Of Thunder
Shawano, WI - The Shawano Speedway has announced that the total payout for the
feature events for its season ending special, Two Nights of Thunder, Sept. 28
and 29 will be in excess of $46,000. The special event will feature the
Speedway’s regular divisons - WISSOTA Late Model, IMCA Modified, IMCA Stock
Car, IMCA Sport Mods and Fastrak Crate Late Model, and will be sponsored by
Seubert Calf Ranches.
The WISSOTA Late Model feature boasts a payout of more than $18,000 with
$5,000 going to the winner. Second place will be $2,000, with $1,500, $1,200
and $1,000 rounding out the top five. The race pays $200 to start.
The IMCA Modified feature will have a payout of more than $8,500, with $2,500
going to the winner. Second place will be $1,000, with $600, $500 and $400
rounding out the top five. The race pays $100 to start.
The IMCA Stock Car feature will have a payout of almost $7,000, with $2,000
going to the winner. Second place will be $800, with $600, $500 and $400
rounding out the top five. The race pays $90 to start.
The Fastrak Crate Late Model feature will have a payout of more than $8,600,
with $2,000 going to the winner. Second place will be $1,000, with $700, $600
and $500 rounding out the top five. The race pays $110 to start.
The IMCA Sport Mod feature will have a payout of more than $3,500, with $500
going to the winner. Second place will be $350, with $250, $175 and $165
rounding out the top five. The race pays $85 to start.
Qualifying heats will be run on Friday night, Sept. 28. Also that night,
feature qualifiers in all divisions will be racing a dash race to determine
their starting position in the feature the following night. Saturday night’s
program will include last chance races, and features.
Shawano Speedway’s regular season is scheduled to start on Saturday, April
21, with racing action getting underway at 6 p.m. For more information about
