Fan Appreciation/Drivers Special Race - Saturday, September 6

Shawano Speedway drivers are planning a special race event this year. Due to
the cold, wet spring and late start to the race season many fans and drivers
were feeling that the season this year was way too short and that just one
more week would be great.
Drivers have teamed with speedway management to bring you that extra race.
Speedway management has agreed to provide all the usual personal and track
prep to put on the show and the drivers have agreed to race for a purse based
on grandstand attendance.
Drivers are collecting prizes from their sponsors to give out to the fans to
show their appreciation for the fans support all year. Fans in turn can show
their appreciation for the great Shawano Speedway drivers by coming out to the
show. The more fans in the stands the more your favorite driver will take home
for their efforts. Invite your friends and neighbors to attend this Fan
Appreciation/Drivers Special.
This event will include WISSOTA Late Models, IMCA Modifieds and IMCA Stocks
and Shawano's own Limited Late Models. IMCA rules will apply but no claiming
will be allowed. This will be a WISSOTA Late Model sanctioned points event.
Races start at 6:30 Grandstand open at 5:00
Adults $9.00 Students $5.00 Children $2.00
Pit gates open at 4:30 Cut off 5:45
Pit Pass $18.00
Season Passes or special passes are not valid for this race
