Seymour Speedway Late Models Make Their Way Onto 2007 Racing Scene
Seymour, WI - February 14, 2007 - NEW Dirt, Inc. Board of Directors is pleased
to announce a new Late Model Class for 2007. The board feels that this
new class will provide opportunities for more drivers to race at Seymour and
create exciting late model racing for the fans. This new class was
created after many hours of deliberation and gathering input from
drivers. This will be a blended class of late models. Cars from
Fastrak, DTRA, WDLMA, WISSOTA, UMP and Shawano Limited Late Model will be
allowed to run together each week at Seymour Speedway.
Drivers will be asked to declare which type of car they are running and their
car must meet all requirements of the declared sanction. All cars will
be required to meet all Track Operational Rules and special requirements for
Seymour Speedway Late Models. The special requirements will include
weight rules, engine restrictions and tire rule. The tire rule will
include several different tires including Goodyear and Hoosier.
As an added bonus to this new class Fastrak Great Lakes Region is willing to
sanction within this class. This special sanctioning opportunity will be
offered only at Seymour Speedway. Non Fastrak legal cars may qualify for
the Seymour’s Fastrak Track Championship along with Fastrak National Year
End Championships by racing in this class at Seymour. Anyone requiring
more details about this new class may go to memoriesantiques.biz/seymourspeedway2007.htm
or contact the track by email at seymourspeedway@netnet.net
The 2007 season starts with a Car Show and track practice on April 29, 2007
and Seymour Speedway invites you to join them for exciting family
entertainment every Sunday this summer.
