Rain Cancels Seymour Again

Seymour, July 4- For the second week in a row, N.E.W. DIRT officials were forced to cancel their Sunday night racing program at the Seymour Tri Oval Raceway. 

Heavy rain overnight left the pit area under water, and with the County Fair starting this week, the club could not use the fair grounds for parking the haulers.

This was the fifth rain out this season.

There will be no racing at the Tri Oval this week, July 11, because of the county fair.

Racing will resume on Sunday night, July 18 with Hooters as the nights sponsor. The fireworks from the July 4 program will be set off on the 18th as well.
