New Sponsors Named For Tri-Track Challenge Series

(Clintonville, WI) - A pair of heavy hitters in northeast Wisconsin's dirt late model community have stepped to the plate providing title sponsorship for the 2005 Tri-Track Challenge series.

Forest County Potawatomi of Crandon and Seubert Calf Ranches of Dorchester have been named title sponsors of the two year old series, through the efforts of Langlade County Speedway, Shawano Speedway and Seymour Speedway, said series coordinator Ed Bertram.

In it's first year the Tri-Track Challenge series doled out more than $25,000 in cash and contingency awards.  Shawano's Troy Springborn, 2004 series champion, received a check for $2,500 and $1,500 in product awards.  Nearly $23,000 in cash and products was split up among 18 drivers who chased the series.   The average car count at the three member tracks was more than 24 per night.

"With the help of these two major sponsors we're able to take this series to the next level," said Bertram. "We'll have more than $60,000 in cash and product up for grabs this year.  We've got most everyone coming back and we'll have a few newcomers in the mix as well.  It should be an exciting year."

In addition to Seubert Calf Ranches and Forest County Potawatomi, Amsoil Racing Products has  also joined on as an associate sponsor.  In addition some new program incentives have been built into the series, including the $1,000-to-win Tri-Fecta, the $1,000-to-win pit crew challenge and the creation of the Quick 6 program .  These programs will give drivers multiple opportunities to fatten their wallets and give area race fans a new twist at the tracks this year.
