Rockford Speedway Announces Junior Nation Night April 28

Rockford, IL- “While watching the Cup race from Bristol waiting for Spring to get here, I could not believe the amount of red shirts in the stands,” Stated Rockford Speedway General Manager Gregg McKarns.  “I had heard the commentators refer to the “Junior Nation” many times over the years. Heck I had even witnessed it, but I have always been concerned that those race fans have never experienced real, true short track racing, the kind of racing Dale (Earnhardt), Jr cut his teeth on, we are going to change that.”

Rockford Speedway is offering a special promotion through Fox 39 and Budweiser on Saturday night April 28 during its NASCAR Whelen All-American Series event.  Any fan that wears their Dale, Jr. gear will get in for just eight dollars in honor of their favorite driver’s car number.  Numerous fun activities are planned for the Fox 39/Budweiser Junior Nation Night, including the Dale, Jr. Look-A-Like Contest in which the winner will be voted on by the fans and receive a Budweiser Racing Jacket courtesy of Budweiser and LaMonica Beverages.
