Stanley Steemer NASCAR Late Models Headline Rockford’s 60th Season

Rockford, IL- The 60th Anniversary Season at Rockford Speedway will feature
the newly named Stanley Steemer NASCAR Late Models during the NASCAR Whelen
All-American Series season at the famed quarter-mile high banked paved
oval. This division will make their season debut on Saturday, April
21st.
Paul McCann, owner and operator of the nearby Machesney Park Stanley Steemer
franchise gladly accepted the opportunity to tie his company to the NASCAR
Late Model division at Rockford Speedway. “I have witnessed the action
and excitement that the late models provide on a regular basis. My
entire family is proud to have our name tied to this group of drivers; we look
forward to meeting them and many of the race fans throughout the season,”
Stated McCann. “I have been involved with racing at the highest
levels, the fans and drivers at Rockford Speedway are amongst the best in the
nation.”
Ricky Bilderback tops the list of drivers expected to compete for the Stanley
Steemer NASCAR Late Model Championship. Bilderback will attempt to join
John Knaus and Bobby Wilberg with seven championships. He currently
holds six titles but number seven will not be an easy order. The likes
of the People’s Champion Jerry Gille, ASA standout Ryan Carlson, former Big
8 Series Champion Jon Reynolds Jr., Wisconsin State Championship victor Bob
Kahler and three time American Short Tracker titlist Brett McCoy hope to top
Bilderback in the season long battle.

NASCAR Racing action begins on April 21st during the Coca-Cola Season Opener;
