Racer's Auction Returns To Rockford
By: Kevin Ramsell
Wednesday, December 27, 2006 (Loves Park, IL) – Midwest Motorsports will
kick off 2007 with the Illinois Racer’s Auction in Loves Park, IL. The
annual event will take place on Friday, January 5 and Saturday, January 6,
2007.
For the second year in a row, the event will be held at the Rockford
Sportscore Indoor Sports Center. The facility is easily located about a
mile east of Interstate 39/90 at 8800 E. Riverside Blvd, Loves Park,
IL.
Last year, Midwest Motorsports only used half of its facility, but in 2007 the
entire facility will be used. “This will allow us to have more room
for part lots, C-lots, vendors, and discussions among the racing community,”
Gregg McKarns of Midwest Motorsports stated. “If you thought last year
had a lot of opportunities, wait until this year.”
Potential sellers are encouraged to pre-register now for Prime Time
slots. You can get the registration form and more information about
selling at the Auction’s website at www.racersauctionnews.com.
Along with the auction, there will also be a huge trade show and seminars both
days. More information about this will be in a separate press
release.
Auction officials will start taking consignment items on Thursday, January 4
at 11:00 a.m. The building will close at 9:00 p.m.
The auction will open to the public at noon on Friday, January 5 with the
auction beginning at 1:00 p.m. and going to about 9:00 p.m. that night.
Auction officials suggest that bidders arrive early to register for their
bidder cards and receive a free catalog.
The auction doors will open at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 6 with the
auction starting at 9:00 a.m. The Prime Time Part Lot sale starts at
11:00 a.m. with the C-Lots starting at Noon.
Admission for each day is $10 or you can buy a combo admission (both Friday
