Five Star Bodies to Present Tough Luck Award at NSTC 06
Rockford, IL- Five Star RaceCar Bodies will award $100 product certificates to
the Tough Luck Award recipients in the CRA Super Series Chicago International
Trucks 200, Mid-American Stock Car 75 and the Big 8 Series Twin 75 lap
features, the Stanley Steemer 75 and Fox 39 WQRF 75. A panel of racing
enthusiasts will cast votes as to whom they feel should receive the Fivestar
Tough Luck Award during the 41st annual National Short Track Championships
taking place at Rockford Speedway September 22-24.
“Unfortunately I had the honor of receiving that award at the Spring Classic
this year.” Stated Rockford Speedway NASCAR Late Model Rookie Point Leader
Josh Nelms. “It sure came in handy this season and I know things can and
will happen in a hurry at Short Track. I think it is great that Fivestar
supports this event and the drivers competing.”
A total of ten divisions will be in action at the ¼ mile paved high banked
oval starting Friday night with the Area Sportsman 50. For more information
