Miller Vs. Bilderback One-On-One This Saturday Night

Wednesday, July 26, 2006 (Loves Park, IL) – Jeremy Miller has always felt
that he could take on Ricky Bilderback, the five-time Rockford Speedway
champion. But, the competition is so tough this season that he hasn’t
been able to show the champ what he is made of. He will get his chance
this Saturday night.
Allstate will present an evening of NASCAR Dodge Weekly Series action with the
NASCAR Late Models, Grand Nationals, Coca-Cola RoadRunners and Allison Legacy
cars in action.
The highlight of the evening will be a one-on-one match race between Miller
and Bilderback with $500 going to the winner.
Miller, the current Big 8 Series point leader, has two Big 8 Series win this
season. His recent Big 8 Series win came on July 3rd when he held off
Bilderback for the win. The two put on a great race as Bilderback tried
many times to get by the young driver.
Miller, who drives for Jon Reynolds, came into the 2006 season with the
attitude that he could prevent Bilderback from collecting another track
championship. But early season mechanical problems and accidents have
set him 125 points back of Bilderback in the standings.
Bilderback recently collected his seventh feature win of the season last
Saturday night and is the current king of the high-banked quarter-mile
oval. He is certainly on his way to picking up another
championship. But Miller wants to prove that this champion can be
defeated and will get his chance to prove it this Saturday night.
