Road America Adds Media Director

Elkhart Lake, Wisc., May 11, 2005 –– Road America has hired Julie Sebranek to serve as its Media Director. In addition to working with national racing organizations, Sebranek will manage the track’s media room, coordinate press tours, and communicate with broadcast television and radio outlets, sports writers and photographers. Sebranek will also coordinate Road America’s publications and event programs.

For ten years Sebranek provided free-lance creative services to businesses in the retail and tourism industries. For over four years she provided advertising and marketing assistance to Road America. She also served as Program Manager for the Plymouth Advancement Association, Inc., which provided strategic community planning and downtown revitalization incentives for Plymouth, Wisconsin.

A graduate of Lakeland College, Sheboygan, Sebranek holds degrees in English and Marketing. She has been a member of the Plymouth Chamber of Commerce, the Elkhart Lake Chamber of Commerce and is currently vice-president of the Plymouth Junior Woman’s Club. Sebranek has also served on the boards of the Plymouth Historical Society and the Wisconsin Downtown Action Council.
