Road America Season Tickets $200 until Oct. 15
Elkhart Lake Vintage Festival Sept. 16-19

Elkhart Lake, Wisc., Aug. 24, 2004—Road America is selling its 2005 Season Ticket for $200 until Oct. 15, 2004, according to George Bruggenthies, president and general manager. The Season Ticket will cover a minimum of five three or four-day race weekends, and includes paddock access, where the teams set up, and parking. Children 12 and under are free for all events with a ticketed adult. In 2004 Road America hosted top motorcycle, club and professional racing series in five major spectator events, three of which included national and international television coverage. Tickets are available by ordering on the track website, www.roadamerica.com; by phone, 1.800.365.7223, and at the track office in Elkhart Lake during regular business hours. Road America initiated Season Tickets in 2000 to reward loyal customers and to reduce race fan expenses.

Road America's next spectator event is the Elkhart Lake Vintage Festival, Sept. 16-19, and will feature Morgan cars along with nine classes of vintage racing cars. The Morgans will have a special race in honor of the late Peter Morgan, a reception, a Morgan concours d'elegance (car show) and reserved space for Morgan race and club cars. Organizers anticipate 50 of the rare sports cars, including European entrants. Because the Morgan is custom made, the company only produces about 700 cars a year. In addition to track activities, race fans can drive one of the 1950s street courses in a guided tour on Saturday. Tickets are $10 for Friday and $15 for Saturday and $15 for Sunday. Golf cars are $225 for the weekend.

The Family Resource Center of Sheboygan County will be the recipient of a silent auction held throughout the weekend and a Thursday afternoon karting program on the Briggs & Stratton Motorplex.

Road America will celebrate its 50th birthday in 2005. The first race was held at the race track in September, 1955, following three successful street races through the Village and around Elkhart Lake. As part of the celebration, Road America has published a limited edition book, Road America: Celebrating 50 Years of Road Racing, which is available online, www.roadamerica.com or by phone, 1.800.365.7223. The book is $49.95.
