Powercom Speed Zone Forced To Cancel Tuesday Program
OSHKOSH, WI – Flooding weekend rains coupled with little drying time left
the Powercom Speed Zone under water and forced the cancellation of Tuesday
night’s racing program.
The track will be back in action on Tuesday night, June 1st with a full
program highlighted by the Budweiser Modifieds, American Auto Sales Street
Stocks, Miller Lite Grand National Stock Cars, and the Signmakers/Corporate
Impressions Dirt Devils. The first green flag will fall at 7:00 pm.
The track will then race on June 8th and June 15th before taking the week off
on June 22nd. Due to other activities taking place at the Sunnyview Expo
Center that week racing action that night has been shifted to The Raceway at
Powercom Park in Beaver Dam as Prestige Custom Cabinetry presents a modified
special featuring Tony Stewart and Kasey Kahne.
The Interstate Racing Association sprint cars will return to the Powercom
Speed Zone on Tuesday night, June 29th for their only 2004 appearance in
Oshkosh. The show will round out the month and include the street stock
and dirt devil divisions.
For more information on upcoming events at the Speed Zone contact the track
office at (920) 887-1600 or visit www.wismotorsports.com.
