USSA PROSTAR Racing Series
Powercom Speed Zone

The Powercom Speed Zone, Oshkosh announced today that because of unusually mild and inclement weather, the decision has been made to cancel the February 1st and 2nd PROSTAR Racing Series sanctioned event.
The unusual warm weather conditions have not been a cooperating factor in trying to prep and manage the grounds in the preparation for the event that was slated for the first week of February 2003.
The planning and preparation had been on going since August, when Wisconsin Motorsports LLC first met with the California based sanctioning group.
Further plans for the scheduling and preparation of the possibility of a 2004 USSA PROSTAR Racing Series has not been determined at this time, but will be announced at a later date.
The 2003 racing schedule of events and calendar for the Powercom Speed Zone are being finalized and prepared for the season opener on May 20, 2003. Further information can be directed to the corporate office in Beaver Dam. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
