July 31, 2003 (Lake Geneva, WI) - The Midwest Sportsman Championship Series drivers will be battling for an additional $1000 in purse money August ninth at Lake Geneva Raceway. Lynch Chevrolet of Burlington is contributing the money to help the series grow.

"I've always been a part of the Midwest Sportsman and Mid-American Stock Car Series. It's a good group of guys, and I know most of them from racing with them through the years. We at Lynch hope to help the series grow. Hopefully a few more cars will come and we can have a good race again. And of course, we use this as advertising and promotion to get our name out there and sell cars," explained John Fischer, Sales Manager at Lynch.

The 40-lap feature will star hotshot point leader Josh Bauer, local standouts Jeremy Miller, Dennis Norton Jr., and Gary Lamonte, as well as Mid-American Stock Car Series stars Bill Prietzel, Bobby Gutknecht and more of the Midwest's finest competitors.

Gates open at 5:00 Saturday evening, with qualifying at 6:00 and racing at 7:00 at Lake Geneva Raceway. More information on the series is available online at www.mscsracing.net
