Two Special MSA Twin Feature Events Announced

Sussex, WI - Midwest Sprintcar Association President Al Schlafer has announced the
details of two special events planned for this summer. Both events will feature a
Lap Sponsor program, and Twin A-Main events.
The first special event will be a special mid-week appearance on July 16th at
Sheboygan County Fairpark in Plymouth. Highlighting the evening will be twin 29 lap
A-Main races in celebration of Tom Mueller's 58th birthday. Also appearing will be
the Super Stocks and Mighty Fours.
The second special event will be the Sue Thiel Memorial, to be held August 16th at
The Raceway at Powercom Park in Beaver Dam. The night will feature twin 22 lap
A-Main races for a total of 44 laps in memory of Sue Thiel who would have celebrated
her 44th birthday this year. Sue Thiel perished in a tragic automobile accident
while enroute with her family to attend the Brickyard 400 in 2001. Her husband Dan
Thiel has sponsored the event in memory of his wife, with a minimum of $1000 going
to the winner. Also appearing will be the Powercom Park stocks cars and the INEX
Legends.
