Two Great Nights of Racing at MIS

Be sure to be at Madison International Speedway for the final two racing events of the 2006 season. The season will close out with two very exciting events and we are hopeful that all of you will be able to come out and spend your Friday nights with us at Wisconsin's Track of Champions.

This Friday night is CarQuest Night at MIS with season champions crowned in all five weekly divisions. The final event in the Wayne's Custom DIECAST Dash Series will also take place for the limited late models. Several divisions will have their champion determined based on Friday night's results.

Current point leaders include Travis Sauter in the Weaver Auto Parts Madison ASA Late Models, Jeremy Miller in the Rockweiler Insulation Limited Late Models, Scott Riedner in the Bryden Motors Area Sportsman, Mike Storkson in the Club La Mark Hobby Stocks, and Tyler Kelley in the Roto Rooter Bandits. Bobby Wilberg is currently second in both the Madison ASA Late Models and Limited Late Models with Scott Lawver, Johnny Robinson II, and Stephen Scheel second in the Sportsman, Hobby Stocks, and Bandits respectively. Of the current point leaders only Riedner has a past track championship at MIS when he won the Sportsman title back in 1998. 

Current rookie of the year leaders are Jason Erickson in the Madison ASA Late Models, Cliff Rucks in the Limited Late Models, Shaun Scheel in the Area Sportsman, and Stephen Scheel in the Bandits.

Fans will also have the opportunity to vote for their favorite drivers and best appearing car at MIS.

Pit gates open at 3:30...hot laps at 4:45...qualifying at 6:30...racing at 7:30.


Bryden Motors presents "Tribute to America Night" on Friday, September 8th at MIS. Here's what's going to happen on this action packed evening under the stars:

The return of the Wisconsin Challenge Series (WCS) and the super late models. A large field of cars is expected to battle it out for a starting position in the Bryden Motors 100.

The Area Sportsman move to the half-mile!!! See the best Area Sportsman in the region take on the "big" track.

The Bandits will be in action on the quarter mile along with the Super Stocks from Lake Geneva. Over twenty super stocks are expected for their first appearance at MIS.

Area veterans will be honored during a special ceremony.

A Blackhawk helicopter will be landing in the infield.

ThunderCat Fireworks will be putting on a spectacular fireworks display

And...well, you'll just have to be here to see all of the other special events!
