Jani-King Cleans Up At The Milwaukee Mile
World’s Leading Cleaning Franchise Partners With World’s Oldest Active Speedway
Milwaukee, Wis. (February 20, 2007) – The $23 million in facility improvements at The Milwaukee Mile in just the last five years will have a whole new shine to them, thanks to a partnership announced today between Jani-King of Milwaukee and America’s Legendary Oval, naming Jani-King the Official Cleaning Company of The Milwaukee Mile.
Jani-King, The King of Clean®, will begin a multi-year commitment on March 1, 2007 to keep The Milwaukee Mile’s all-aluminum grandstands, grounds, and business and ticket offices clean. This includes pre-event detailing, a complete pressure washing of the nearly 40,000 grandstand seats, and nightly clean-up.
Jani-King remains active in motorsports including sponsoring the Hooters Pro Cup Series and various race teams. Terry Bradshaw continues to be Jani-King’s official spokesman.

To further ensure the safety of spectators and participants at The Mile, Jani-King has a “Workplace Awareness Program” that trains its franchise owners on how to identify possible threats and what to do if they see something out of the ordinary or a possible threat. Jani-King of Milwaukee received an accommodation from Gov. Doyle for their efforts on Homeland Security.

The 2007 schedule is highlighted by the return to tradition of the IndyCar Series race date to the first Sunday in June (June 3rd), the renewal of the popular NASCAR double-header weekend of the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series (Friday night, June 22nd) and the NASCAR Busch Series (Saturday night, June 23rd), plus 500 miles of stock car racing including NASCAR superstar Matt Kenseth racing in a super late model on the speedway’s Governor’s Cup weekend (August 24-26).
