Grid Girl Car Wash This Saturday At The Milwaukee Mile
Special Ticket Offer for Governor’s Cup Weekend Includes Free Car Wash
MILWAUKEE (August 17, 2006) – Race fans who have yet to purchase their
tickets for the August 25 – 27 Governor’s Cup weekend of stock car racing
at The Milwaukee Mile have the opportunity this Saturday only to get tickets
and a car wash from The Milwaukee Mile Grid Girls, at a special price.
There will be 500 miles of stock car racing over two days, among four
divisions. A car wash will be part of a ticket offer available only this
Saturday, August 19 from 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. at The Milwaukee Mile
office at 7722 West Greenfield Avenue.
During this special event this Saturday, The Grid Girl Car Wash Package
includes (2) 200-level tickets to the Sunday, August 27 Governor’s Cup 200
ARCA RE/MAX Series and Wisconsin Challenge Series event day and a car wash by
The Milwaukee Mile Grid Girls for $20.00.
Miss Milwaukee Mile finalists are expected to be on hand, as well, as the
finals for this season-long contest will be held on Sunday, August 27 at The
Milwaukee Mile, awarding $10,000, use of a Toyota, a year’s worth of Miller

The upcoming August 25-27 Governor’s Cup weekend brings the tradition of
stock car racing in August back to the historic oval, the oldest operating
motor speedway in the world, dating back to 1903. Comprising the 500
miles of stock car racing will be four divisions of national and Wisconsin
grass roots stock car racing divisions.
Teams from the ARCA RE/MAX Series will headline the weekend, racing in the
Governor’s Cup 200. The debut of the ASA Late Model Challenge Series
in the Governor’s Cup 150, the Mid-American Stock Cars return on Saturday,
and the first-ever visit of the Wisconsin Challenge Series complete a busy
weekend of on-track activity.
The Grid Girl Car Wash Package must be purchased in order to receive a car
wash.
