Jeff Gordon, NASCAR Nextel Cup Teams Testing At The Milwaukee Mile
Milwaukee Mile NASCAR Ticket Holders Admitted FREE June 27 & 28
MIILWAUKEE (June 15, 2006) – Milwaukee Mile NASCAR fans are
going to get their chance to watch Jeff Gordon and his Hendrick Motorsports
teammates test at The Milwaukee Mile for free on Tuesday, June 27 and
Wednesday, June 28.
On the heels of the June 23rd Toyota Tundra Milwaukee 200 NASCAR Craftsman
Truck Series race, and the June 24th AT&T 250 NASCAR Busch Series event,
Gordon and company will be getting in some valuable track time, preparing
their cars for NASCAR NEXTEL Cup race tracks that have similar characteristics
to The Milwaukee Mile, including Pocono Raceway, Martinsville Raceway and New
Hampshire Int'l Speedway.
During the two day NASCAR NEXTEL Cup team test, by presenting a Milwaukee Mile
NASCAR event ticket stub from either the June 23rd Toyota Tundra Milwaukee 200
or the June 24th AT&T 250, The Mile's NASCAR fans will gain FREE admission
to the Grandstand between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Only those Mile fans
with a ticket stub from The Mile's upcoming NASCAR Craftsman Truck or Busch
series races will be admitted.
This private team test is expected to include upwards of eight NASCAR NEXTEL
Cup cars, as Chip Ganassi Racing, Evernham Motorsports and Penske Racing South
are also anticipated to participate.

Cup Series teams with drivers Jeff Gordon, current 'Cup points leader Jimmie
Johnson, Kyle Busch and Brian Vickers, in an all-important test for Hendrick
Motorsports," commented Craig Stoehr, Milwaukee Mile
Chairman. "As new promoters, we want to get the word out to invite
our NASCAR fan base, to thank them for their support of our upcoming NASCAR
weekend, and to expose them to what will be a full day of NASCAR NEXTEL Cup
Series on-track activity. The best part of this is all you need is your
ticket stub from our upcoming NASCAR weekend."
Some tickets still remain for both the Friday night, June 23rd Toyota Tundra
Milwaukee 200 (from just $9), and for the Saturday night, June 24th AT&T
250 (from $19) - which will feature eight NEXTEL Cup drivers in action against
the superstars of the NASCAR Busch Series, including last weekend's Nextel Cup
Pocono 500 winner Denny Hamlin, along with Clint Bowyer, current Busch Series
point leader Kevin Harvick, Carl Edwards, Kyle Busch, Wisconsin’s own Scott
Wimmer, JJ Yeley and just-announced David Stremme – subbing for his NEXTEL
