Trickle Autograph Party August 26 At The Milwaukee Mile
Jersey rocker J-Henry performing free concert

Milwaukee, Wis. (August 12, 2005) - After practicing his own Super Late Model racecar in the afternoon, Wisconsin auto racing legend Dick Trickle will sign autographs for fans during a Friday night August 26 driver autograph party at The Milwaukee Mile.

Several NASCAR and USAC drivers will join Trickle beginning at 6:00 p.m. CST for the autograph party behind the new Milwaukee Mile grandstands.

Trickle and an estimated 200 drivers converge on America's Legendary Oval for the speedway's August 26-28 Governor's Cup weekend, featuring a 200-lap NASCAR Autozone Elite Division, Midwest Series race, the return of the USAC Valvoline National Sprint Car Series in the Parnelli Jones Classic, plus four grass roots Governor's Cup stock car divisions in action.

Trickle will test and tune his racecar on Friday in preparation for the Sunday afternoon 50-lap MARS Super Late Model race.  Practice sessions begin on Friday for the Governor's Cup divisions, with on-track practice, qualifying and racing on Saturday and Sunday.  Three main events will be offered on both Governor's Cup weekend race days.

The Friday night autograph party transitions into a concert around 6:45 p.m. CST by rising heartland rock artist J-Henry, who will perform on the International Amphitheatre stage, a permanent outdoor stage located directly behind the grandstands.

Invited to be part of the NASCARregionalracing.com "Emerging Artist Series", J-Henry brings his artful blend of Americana, blues, rock and pop to Milwaukee, after similar performances in August at NASCAR tracks in Indianapolis, Ind. and Stockton, Calif.

J-Henry grew up in New Jersey in a working class family of five boys listening to Bruce Springsteen, John Mellencamp and Bob Seger, while fine-tuning his own version of heartland rock.  His album "Another Long Day" was released nationally this past Tuesday (Aug. 9), with his first single "Come On" currently the sixth most added single in America, with radio airplay from both AAA and Hot AC radio.  He'll be performing at racing venues across the country through the fall.

Both the autograph session and concert presented by The Milwaukee Mile are free to attend.
