Dick Karth Crowned Classics Champion
Stock Car Classics champion for 2006 is Dick Karth, driving a Ford Taurus /
#90 Dick Trickle/ former Winston Cup car. Dick had the highest average finish
and was the only driver to qualify for all Classics events of 19 and growing
members. This was also Dick Karth's first full season of racing, which
qualified him as "rookie of the year" in addition to the Classics
championship.
Dick's skills have improved noticeably due to taking advantage of the 3
drivers schools offered through the Classics series. He also took advantage of
the "open test" track practice dates offered during the
season.
With more cars being built and restored over the winter, 2007 looks to be
another step to growing an entertaining series. For more information on the
