Two Track Records Broken At The Mile

WEST ALLIS, WI -- Two track records were set during qualifying for the Governor's Cup Weekend at The Milwaukee Mile.

Tim Schendel of Sparta, WI established a new one-lap record for the MARS Late Models with a time of 29.240.

John Vig Jr of Shakopee, MN broke his own one-lap record in the Mid-Am Super Trucks with a time of 32.195.

Pat Kelly's one-lap Mid-American Stock Car Series record still stands at 31.806.  He set the record on August 22 of 1998 just after the one-mile oval was repaved.
