Nine Of Top Ten MARS Late Models Expected At Tuesday Shootout
KAUKAUNA, WI -- Nine of the top ten drivers in the Midwest AllStar Late Model
Series point standings will be competing in the Tuesday night Shootout at
Wisconsin International Raceway in Kaukauna on August 2.
The top ten are invited to compete in the B & B Race Engines Late Model
Shootout 44 for the Wally Jors Memorial Cup. The top MARS drivers will
race against leading drivers from the Fox River Racing Club Thursday night
programs and other Midwestern competitors.
The 44-Lap race will be run in conjunction with the American StockCar League
150 and the Royal Rumble 30 for Mid-American Stock Cars and Super
Trucks. Time trials begin for ASL cars at 4 p.m. with autographs
from 5 to 6 p.m. and racing on the D-shaped half-mile paved track at 7:15 p.m.
