Vaash Wins Stock Car Classics Race

WEST SALEM, WI -- John Vassh of Racine drove his 1971 Dodge Charger to victory
in the Stock Car Classics race Saturday night at the LaCrosse Fairgrounds
Speedway.
Rounding out the top three were Gary Stein of Northfield, MN in a 1966 Chevy
Impala and Jim Riffer of Franksville in a 1957 Ford Fairlane.
The remaining classics races will be Friday, Aug. 5 at Madison International
Speedway in Oregon, WI and Saturday, Aug. 27 at The Milwaukee Mile.
