Giusto To Compete Petty 1986 Grand Prix In Stock Car Classics

ADDISON, IL -- Jim Giusto of Addison, IL has purchased a former Richard Petty NASCAR 1986 Pontiac Grand Prix from a Daytona Beach, FL auto museum and will be racing the car in the Stock Car Classics League.

"I'd like to have the car ready for the Milwaukee Mile August 27," Giusto said.

The car, which is autographed by Petty, is built on a Banjo Chassis and is coming out of the Classic Auto Museum in Daytona.

"We have a late model motor for it and will begin preparing it immediately," Giusto noted.

Giusto has raced dirt limited late models, sportsman and Dwarf car.   "I want to get out of the weekly crunch and race in a more relaxed division.  I love racing and this seemed like a pretty neat series to get involved in," he said.
