Midwest AllStar 100 At I-94 Rescheduled For July 2nd
    
SAUK CENTRE, MN --The Midwest AllStar 100 late model race which was rained out June 4 at the I-94 Raceway in Sauk Centre, MN has been moved to Saturday night, July 2.  Qualifying is planned for 6 p.m. with racing at 7 p.m. on the 3/8-mile paved oval.

Two-time MARS champion Jeff Van Oudenhoven of Kimberly, WI is expected to return to the track where he wrapped up the 2004 title by inches over Blake Bjorklund of Isanti, MN.   

Steve Carlson of West Salem, WI is the current MARS Series point leader.

Several local divisions will also compete in a full evening of racing action.   Free camping is offered at the track.  A 150-lap American StockCar League (ASL) race and a 50-lap Mid-Am Super Truck race will be held on Sunday, July 3 at the track.

"This will be the biggest two-day racing weekend we've ever put together at I-94 Raceway," noted track co-promoter Tim Olson.  "We'd certinaly like to invite fans from around the Midwest to join us for this big holiday racing weekend.  We expect some drivers to be racing in several divisions between the two days which should make things interesting," Olson conlcuded.
