Luxemburg Speedway Sets Practice Date

(Luxemburg, WI) April 6 - Track officials at Luxemburg Speedway have announced their open practice session is slated to take place Friday, April 13 from 6 to 9 p.m.

As in past years, the practice session is open to cars and drivers in any division. Last season, 95 cars representing five different divisions toured the third-mile, clay oval as drivers prepped their machines for the upcoming season. "This year I expect pretty much more of the same," said track manager Rick Goral. "With the explosion of our IMCA northern sportmod class I expect to see quite a few of those cars out for our practice session as well."

Grandstand admission is free to spectators for this event. Drivers will pay $15 to enter the pits while non-drivers wishing to enter the pit area will be charged seven dollars. There will be limited concessions available as well.

The 2007 season will kick off Friday night, April 20 at 7 p.m. IMCA modifieds, IMCA stock cars, IMCA hobby stocks, IMCA northern sportmods and sport fours will compete weekly through Labor day weekend.
