Luxemburg Practice Pushes On Despite Wet Weather

(Luxemburg, WI) April 21 - Despite pesky showers more 95 drivers were able to
shake down their machines during a practice session at Luxemburg Speedway
Friday night.
Five different divisions were represented during the practice session at the
third-mile, clay oval, including 37 IMCA stock cars, 36 IMCA modifieds, 15
IMCA hobby stocks, five street stocks and two IMCA sport mods. The three hour
practice session was delayed by 20 minutes due to light showers, which
continued throughout the evening. But with the cooperation of the drivers the
practice session went on without a hitch in front of roughly 300 race fans.
The KICKS 104.9 FM season opener is slated for Friday night, April 28 at 7
p.m. IMCA modifieds, stock cars and hobby stocks along with sport fours will
compete. The pit gates open at 4 p.m. while the grandstand tickets go on sale
at 5:45 p.m.
