Bickle Returns Home For Big Win
DOHERTY WINS BIC TITLE
15 YEAR MICHAEL BILDERBACK WIN HIS FIRST

Lake Geneva, WI. October 1st.  It was a perfect day with temperatures in the low 70’s as Victor Ford, Dunn Lumber and Bud Light presented the final fall classic at Lake Geneva Raceway, in day number two Sunday. 

Richie Bickle Jr. from Sun Prairie, now a nationally recognized driver in NASCAR, came home one last time to win the final feature of a great afternoon with over 275 race cars on hand. Bickle who raced here in the late 70’s, 80’s and early 90’s won the 75 lap feature race. 

15 year old Michael Bilderback of South Beloit, IL. a two time bandolero champion here and runner up in the points standings for the legends cars, won his first major race in the 58 lap feature for the BIG 8 series that runs regionally. 

Rockford driver Steve Doherty won his first championship in the Basic International cars, part of the fall show, with visiting drivers in a pure stock class. 

Tim Bell of Johnsburg, IL. won the area modifieds feature, with fast qualifier Wes Biswell second. 

The street stock feature went to 2006 LGR champion, Adam Regnier of Twin Lakes. 

The new BOSS outlaw sprints debuted with Tim Cox of Park City, IL. winning the 20 lap contest. Cox also won the ultimate one lap qualifying record, going home with $1800 for his efforts.

This coming Saturday night the Midwest enduro series returns for Their final appearance ever. The original Goblin 250 will take place, A small car enduro, a costume contest for the children and roll over Contest. The show begins at 6:00 pm. The raceway remains open for Weekly shows until October 21st. when the final trailer races takes Place.
