Two In A Row For Wallace, Schneider Wins First Of Season

Lake Geneva, WI. June 17th. It was another rainy night around the 30
mile radus of Lake Geneva Raceway, Saturday night. Josh Wallace of Pell Lake
showed the large crowd on hand, what this third generation driver and 2005
late model champion was made of. Wallace won the 40 lap feature for the super
late model race cars. This was Josh’s second win in a row for a rookie in
the division. Burlington’s Randy Schneider won the very close super stock
feature race. It was Randy’s first win of the season, using Jamie Starks
race car. The formula indy open wheel cars were here, as 62 year old
Vern Brown won his first race here this season.
This coming Saturday night, race fans will get their first look at the legend
and bandolero race cars. The super late models and super stocks will also
race. On Sunday at 12 noon, the first of two demo derbies will take
place. Over 100 cars are expected. The second demo will be the very last show
ever at the Raceway on October 14th. for the finale of 44 years of racing
here.
