Rain Out Number One At LGR, Friday Night Special Next
April 29th. Lake Geneva, WI. - It was the last time there would be
weekly stock car racing in April at Lake Geneva raceway and “Mother
Nature”, won as rain began at 1pm. and went on all afternoon and throughout
the night. This made Kevin Dawson and his staff no choice, cancel the no bull
series race number one. ”The vintage stock cars were also added to the show
tonight, but the weather would not co-operate and we pulled the plug early,
just like the other race tracks in the area”, stated Dawson.
Coming up next at the raceway, Friday night weekly racing begins with a big
special. May 5th. Bilderback Auto Parts of South Beloit, Illinois presents the
final world class spring opener for 5 top divisions here along with a new
class around the region. The Lusia’s pizzeria mini modifieds, Perfection
Autobody INEX legends, the INEX bandolero cars, the open wheel Rascal outlaws,
the Formula indy cars and the super mini cup kids class. Time trials begin at
6pm. racing at 7:30.
On Saturday night the Basic International cars join the super stocks,
sportsman and super late models. Time trials will begin at 5:45 pm. racing at
