World Class Small Car Spring Opener Next At LGR
Super Mini Cups Added To Show
Lake Geneva, WI. The first ever World class small car spring opener will
take place this coming Friday night May 6th. at Wisconsin’s busiest
race track, Lake Geneva Raceway. Bilderback Auto parts from South Beloit,
Illinois will sponsor this one night event.
It will be a point show for all clubs that race here every Friday night. On
the card will be the INEX legend and bandolero cars, the Lusia’s pizzeria
mini modifieds, the Double R towing Basic International cars, the open wheel
cars from the Formula indy group and the Rascal outlaws, the 4 cylinder cars
and trucks from the American short trackers, Jefferson speedway internationals
and Midwest sport trucks, the Allison legacy cars and now the super mini cup
cars, that will also race Saturday night.
There should be records broken on and off the oval. The popularity of the
smaller cars has grown here at LGR and other tracks around the country. The
early bird entry form will save drivers $10 if they enter now. It can be
downloaded off the LGR website, at www.lakegenevaraceway.com.
Weekly stadium dirt motocross racing begins that night at 8pm.
Time trials begin at 6pm. with races to follow at 7:30. The weekly
Friday Night shows begin May 20th. due to a Lions Club event on Thursday
May 12th. The Friday May 13th. will be their rain date. The raceway is located
on Bloomfield Road, just two miles south of Highway 50, at the edge of Lake
