North Country Contractors To Sponsor Sportsmen Division In LaCrosse Speedway’s 50th Race Season
WEST SALEM, WI (March 1, 2007) – LaCrosse Fairgrounds Speedway officials are
proud to announce North Country Contractors Inc., of West Salem WI, as the new
title sponsor of the speedway’s Grand National Sportsmen Division beginning
in 2007.
North Country Contractors is a Designer/Builder, specializing in new home
construction and remodeling. “We strive hard to design a home that
meets our customers’ wants and needs, and our crews always go the extra mile
to be sure your new home building process is an enjoyable one. We have a
great customer base, of which we are very grateful to receive many referrals
from, commented Mike Reschke, North Country Contractors General Manager.
North Country Contractors builds primarily in a 50 mile radius of the LaCrosse
Area.
Reschke, an avid motorsports fan, has been involved in racing for several
seasons at LaCrosse Speedway. In addition to track signage, North
Country Contractors has been a supporter of several race cars at the track,
and was a sponsor in bringing Dick Trickle to the 2006 Oktoberfest Race
Weekend. “Our involvement at the track over recent years has helped
our business grow, and when this opportunity arose to sponsor the Sportsmen
Division, it was something that was too good to turn down,” continued
Reschke.

The first event on the Speedway’s 2007 Schedule is the Preview Car Show at
Valley View Mall, in Onalaska, WI, on Friday March 23rd through Sunday March
25th. The driver orientation meeting will be held for any interested
participants at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday March 24th, at the Fox Hollow Golf
Course Banquet Hall in Barre Mills.
On-Track action starts with the Media / Practice day on Saturday, April 7th,
followed by another open practice on Thursday, April 12th, and Opening Night
is set for Saturday, April 14th. Weekly action will include the Kwik
Trip NASCAR Late Models, the North Country Contractors Grand National
Sportsmen, and the United Auto Supply Thunderstox. The Features Sports Bar
& Grill Hornets will add to the excitement on Saturday, April
21st.
