Kevin Nuttleman Closes In On #10

With a strong finish in last week's Five Star Telecom 25, combined  with a mid-race spin by Andy Burgess, it appears that Kevin Nuttleman will earn his Tenth Late Model Division Championship this Saturday Night at the LaCrosse Fairgrounds Speedway.  Nuttleman has a 24 point lead heading into this week's Dodge 100.  All Nuttleman has to do is finish 8th or better in the Feature event to secure his track title.

Expect an all-out performance from challenger Andy Burgess, who mathematically still has a chance, pending some bad luck on Nuttleman's behalf.

Mark Lamoreaux could move up a spot into second, and 4th place is also up for grabs between Todd Korish and Steve Holzhausen.  This has been Todd Korish's best season in Late Models, which includes a feature win and a secured top five in Point Standings.

Skylar Holzhausen is headed to earning Rookie-of-the-Year over Mike Carlson, while both will likely remain inside the top ten in final standings.

Don't miss the last Saturday night race of the 2006 season - this Saturday - The Next Saturday Night Race Program is 32 Weeks away  - on April 14th 2007.
