La Crosse Late Models To Run 50-lap Feature At Oktoberfest

(West Salem, WI - September 3, 2005) The La Crosse Late Models will run a 50-lap feature on Sunday, October 9 as part of the Oktoberfest Race Weekend at the La Crosse Fairgrounds Speedway. In all, there will be 515 laps of late model feature action over the four day event, which begins on Thursday, October 6.

Newly crowned La Crosse Late Model champion Kevin Nuttleman will highlight the field for the La Crosse Late Models, although he will be challenged by top drivers from Wisconsin, Illinois, Minnesota and Iowa in the 50-lap feature on Sunday. 

Sunday’s 50-lapper will be joined on the card by the Big 8 Series 40-lap feature, and the 100-lap ARTGO reunion feature for the Wisconsin Late Models. The ASA Late Models will be kicking off the late model action by running 100 laps on Friday, along with 25 for the Central Wisconsin Late Models. On Saturday, the NASCAR AutoZone Midwest Series will run the Oktoberfest 200, bringing the total of late model feature laps to 515.
