(West Salem, WI - April 16, 2005) - Persistent afternoon intermittent rain
showers forced LaCrosse Fairgrounds Speedway officials to postpone the April
16th racing events until April 23rd. As rain continued into the evening,
it was apparent that by the time the track could be dry it would be too late
to start the evening’s race events.
The 2005 racing season will continue on Saturday April 23rd, as Dodge presents
the Kwik Trip NASCAR Late Models, Ray Hutson Chevrolet Grand National
Sportsman, and United Auto Supply Thunderstox. In addition, the
four-cylinder division, the Features Sports Bar & Grill Hornets will make
their first appearance of the season. Majestic Pines Casino Qualifying
will begin at 5:05, and the Hornet Heat races will immediately follow
approximately at 6:30. Racing will begin at 7:15. For more
