Forest County Potawatomi Named Season Sponsor At Langlade County Speedway

May 5, 2005; Antigo, Wisconsin; Forest County Potawatomi has been named the season sponsor at the Langlade County Speedway for the 2005 season.   The sponsorship money goes towards track and facility upgrades.  Some of the money is also put in the point fund that is given away to the drivers at the annual awards banquet.  The money is also used for the weekly payouts.

New this season is double payout nights.  Now hold on, it’s not as easy as it sounds.  Each night there will be a double payout to one class.  Each week it will be a different class.  The catch is:  nobody will know what class it is until their feature is completed!

The double payout will be three times a year for each class, totaling 15 races altogether.  The week that the class is picked, the drivers will receive one check at the end of the race night on behalf of the Forest County Potawatomi.  The next week, the driver will receive their other check as usual.  All drivers in the selected Feature will get the double payout.

The weekly race program includes WISSOTA Late Models, IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Stock Cars, WISSOTA Street Stocks, and ASCI Trucks.  Racing continues weekly until September 2, 2004 with a break on June 10th for the Off-Road Races. Racing begins at 7:15. Food and beverages are sold on the grounds.   Langlade County Speedway is located on the north side of Antigo, just off of Highway 45 at the Langlade County Fairgrounds.
