Langlade County Speedway Announces 2nd Annual "Indian Summer Classic"

September 26, 2004: Antigo, Wisconsin:  Promoters of Langlade County Speedway have announced the running of the 2nd Annual “Indian Summer Classic.” The race will be held on Saturday, October 9, 2004.  Forest County Potawatomi and Fire-Up Fireworks will sponsor the race.  After the racing festivities there will be a spectacular fireworks show!

The show will include WISSOTA Late Models, IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Stock Cars, WISSOTA Street Stocks, and Trucks.  WISSOTA and IMCA rules apply with no claim.  The top four will be teched, and there will be national WISSOTA points.  The payout is over $40,000.  There will be 24 cars in the feature plus one provisional.  Draw and Redraw will be used.

WISSOTA Late Models will run a 30-lap feature.  IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Stock Cars, and WISSOTA Street Stocks will all run 20 laps and Trucks will run 15 laps.

The pits will open at 8 A.M. with driver registration from 2-4 P.M.  Racing will start at 5 P.M.  There is a $50 Vehicle Registration fee and pit passes are $20.

The winner of the WISSOTA Late Model Feature will take home $2,500.  The IMCA Modified Winner will take home $1,500.  IMCA Stock Cars and WISSSOTA Street Stocks will be racing for $700 and Trucks for $500.
