Buhler Wins Late Model Feature – Mother Nature Wins Others

July 30, 2004; Antigo, Wisconsin; The Langlade County Youth Fair greeted fans to the Speedway on Friday night. The program was rushed a bit because of the weather.  The Late Model Feature Made their way to the track and Tim Buhler would walk away with the Feature Win.  The Street Stocks came out for their feature and it started to rain.  The cars were called to the track after the five minute shower, and twenty minutes later were called off.  Again the Street Stocks were called to the track and the rain hit again.  This time it was too much to run off and the races were cancelled.

Pete Parker grabbed the lead of the WISSOTA Late Model feature with Tom Naeyaert second and Terry Anvelink third.  Anvelink took the outside line around Naeyaert for the second spot but Naeyaert would fight back and regain the position.  The caution flag flew and on the restart, Parker took the lead, Naeyaert second and Anvelink third.  Buhler took the inside line around Anvelink to take over third, and Gordie Seegert would follow to take over fourth.  Buhler would waste no time and look to the inside of Naeyaert for second.  

Buhler looked to the inside of Parker but Parker was able to hold onto the top spot.  When the leaders came upon some lap traffic, Buhler was able to get under Parker and take over the lead.  The caution flag would fly again and on the restart, Buhler would take the point, Seegert second and Parker third.  Parker moved to the inside of Seegert for second as Terry Casey moved to the outside of Seegert to take over third.  When the checkers fell, it was Buhler taking the win, Parker second, and Casey third.
