Bennett, Defending Champion For Red, White & Blue

KAUKAUNA, WI -- Lowell Bennett of Neenah will be the defending champion when the 34th annual Red, White & Blue State Championship for late model stock cars kicks off Saturday night, June 11 at Wisconsin International Raceway in Kaukauna at 7 p.m.

Practice on the half-mile paved oval begins at 3 p.m. with qualifying at 5 p.m.

Bennett will face a strong local field of drivers along with the traveling teams of the Midwest AllStar Racing Series (MARS) where Steve Carlson of West Salem is the current point leader after winning the series opener at I-70 Speedway in Odessa, MO.  The second race of the MARS Series at I-94 Raceway in Sauk Centre, MN was rained out Saturday.

Mid-American Stock Cars, FRRC Limited Late Models, Sizzlin 4s and Figure 8 Cars will round out a full time of racing on the D-shaped half-mile paved track and inner quarter-mile courses.
