IRA's Next stop: Oshkosh
by Paul Pittman

The Bumper to Bumper / United Trailers IRA Outlaw Sprints make their annual appearance at one of their favorite tracks this Friday June 9th, as the tour stops in at the big third-mile Oshkosh Speedzone Raceway. The very fast, wide, circular track has provided fast and wild action over the years. Scott Young visited victory lane at Oshkosh last year and is expected Friday.

IRA is truly one of the most competitive series in the country as they have had 7 different winners in 7 events run thus far in 2006. The points race too is something that has fans talking already. Mike Reinke who is IRA's most recent feature winner having won at Powercom Park this past Saturday currently sits on top of standings over two-time defending IRA champ Scotty Neitzel. Neitzel has posted  three consecutive runner-up finishes in the last 3 races. Travis Whitney who captured a win at Deer Creek sits a close third, with Bill Warren, Donny Goeden, Kim Mock, and Steve Meyer all within striking distance.

Hot Laps begin at 6, with qualifying slated for 6:30, and racing at 7
