Extra Cash And Awards Added To Richert Memorial This Saturday
by Paul Pittman

The IRA sanctioned Jerry Richert Memorial has become one of the most exciting and best paying shows on the IRA schedule.  Once again, the Richert family has raised bonus money for this event from family, friends, and businesses to be added above and beyond the purse.  Speaking of the purse, the folks at Cedar Lake are roughly paying $3000 more than a base IRA purse for the 22 car A-main. The Richert's will be adding close to an additional $3000 in bonus money that will be distributed throughout the entire field, including non-transfer cars.  Add to that the great product awards provided by Northern Tool and it is easy to see why the Jerry Richert Memorial is rapidly becoming one of the most sought after races of the entire season in the mid-west.  This event was certainly put together with the racer in mind.

“I'm extremely pleased and honored to have this special race run under the IRA banner.” stated IRA President Steve Sinclair.  “Cedar Lake is a great facility and the Richert family conducts this race with class. It's fast become one of the most prestigious events on our entire schedule!"

The Jerry Richert Memorial IRA/Knoxville/NOSA Challenge hits the track this Saturday Night, September 10th at the Cedar Lake Speedway in New Richmond, WI.  For ticket and admission information, contact the track office at 866-425-7386.
