SLS Promotion Readies For WoO Season
Fox Lake, WI 2/11/05 SLS Promotions will kick off their
2005 World of Outlaws Sprint Series slate with a two-day affair in The Valley
of the Sun, as The 2nd annual Cactus Classic goes trackside at Phoenix's
legendary Manzanita Speedway Friday and Saturday March 4th & 5th. The
March Manzanita event is the only southwest appearance for the WoO this
year.
SLS is excited about the potential of the 2005 World of Outlaws season as the
series will be traveling with the largest contingent of full time competitors
in series history, making for what should be a truly competitive season.
SLS gears up for it's next event, Saturday night March 19th, when the WoO make
their only Lone Star State appearance of 2005, as the "Texas
Shootout" goes trackside at the state of the art complex of Houston
Raceway Park in Baytown. Last year's Texas Shootout was a memorable one as
Steve Kinser made history by capturing WoO win number 500 in front of an
appreciative Texas crowd.
Saturday April 23rd, SLS will host the WoO at C. Ray Hall's famed 81 Speedway
for the Wichita Twister Shootout. Danny Lasoski grabbed the win at 81 last
fall as the historic Kansas speedbowl welcomed the WoO back after a long
absence.
