Big Crowd For Opener At GSR

Clintonville,WI,5/2/07--Eighty seven racer were on hand for the opening night
of racing for the 2007 season at the GSR Kartway. John Diener inherited
the lead from Braden Muench on lap ten to win the kiddie kart feature
race. Josey Buege led the rookie box stock feature from wire-to-wire to
get the win. Ricky Kalfert did like wise in the box stock feature to
bring home the win. The first ever racing for education feature was won
by Shawn Schumacher. Ryan Hinner outdueled Kyle Novitzke to win the
stock lite feature. Brandon Reichenberger picked up right where he left
off last season by sweeping the controlled stock class. In the junior
two action, Tyler Majeski beat Brandon Grendzinski by only .020 of a second to
win the race. Keith Olmstead has a clean sweep also in the stock heavy
class. Jesse Colwell outdueled TJ Smith to win the junior three
feature. Kirk Quaintance had a strong run on his way to winning the
animal pro feature. Tracy Wassenberg walked away with a win in the
arrive and drive karts. While Scott Fredrick won the lawn mower
feature. Racing continues every Wednesday night at the GSR Kartway in
