Daniels, Reuter And Milavitz Get Out Brooms At GSR

Clintonville,WI,8/16/06--Kevin Daniels, Joe Reuter, and Aaron Milavitz each
swept action at the GSR Kartway, winning their heats and feature races.
Other winners on the night were Hanna Daniels, Brock Saunders, Brett Swedberg,
Tanner Wunderlich, Cheyenne Cameron, and Brian Peters.
In the kiddie kart feature, Brayden Litton started on the pole and took the
lead on lap one of the race. Litton was shadowed from the start by Hanna
Daniels. On lap seven Daniels moved to the inside of Litton and made the
pass to take over the lead. Litton was glued to the rear bumper of
Daniels for the duration of the race. Daniels held on to pick up the
win. Braden Muench finished third in the race. Daniels and Litton
each won a heat race.
Brock Saunders brought his A-game to the box stock feature race. The
early stage of the race was plagued by caution flags. Once the race got
rolling, Saunders took control and held off a hard charging Cole Daebler to
gain the win. Saunders, Ricky Kalfert, Tristin Peebles, and Dustin
Volkmann each won a heat race.
Ryan Hinner started on the pole of the stock lite feature race after winning
both of his heat races. Hinner grabbed the lead at the start of the race
and led until lap thirteen. Entering turn one on lap thirteen, Brett
Swedberg got to the inside of Hinner and took the lead exiting turn two.
Swedberg held off Hinner the rest of the race to get the win. Joe Reuter
and Josh Long also won heat races.
Kevin Daniels picked up his first feature win at the track by winning both of
his heat races and leading the entire feature race. Josh Kernosky
finished a close second. Kernosky and Brandon Reichenberger each won a
heat race also.
Tanner Wunderlich ran away with the win in the junior flathead class.
Wunderlich led every lap of the race and also won a heat race. Parker
May finished second in the feature and picked up a heat race win as well.
In stock heavy action, Joe Reuter was on a mission. Reuter won both of
the divisions heat races and led the entire festure race on his way to the
win. Andrew Hock finished in the runner up spot.
Dakota Quaintance won a pair of heat races to earn the pole position in the
pro junior animal feature. Quaintance led the feature until lap ten when
Cheyenne Cameron raced her way around him for the lead. Cameron led the
rest of the race and took the victory. Brothers, Ben and Alex Stumpf
finished second and third. Cameron and Alex Hock also won heat races.
Aaron Milavitz swept the animal pro class. "The Missile" won
both of the heat races and led the entire feature. Jason Jach finished
in second.
In the lawnmower class, Brian Peters led the entire feature race and also won
his heat race. Steve Arndt narrowly beat Nick Hesse out for
second. Tyler Reinke had a scary roll-over in his heat race.
Reinke was transfered to the hospital for further observation.
Only two weeks of racing remain at the GSR Kartway. The track is located
just west of Clintonville on highway fourty five. Racing starts at
seven.
