Six Racers Win First Of The Year At GSR

Clintonville, WI, 6/7/06-- Hanna Daniels, Tristan Peebles, Parker May, Andrew Theis, Alex Hock, and Aaron Milavitz all garnered their first feature wins of the year at the GSR Kartway in their respective divisions.  While Brett Swedberg, Brandon Reichenberger, and Steve Arndt also won their feature races. 
 
The Kiddie kart division started off the nights feature races.  Brayden Litton took the lead at the dop of the green flag.  Third place starter Hanna Daniels quickly began to pressure Litton for the lead.  On lap seven of the race Daniels took to the high side of the track in turn one and made it stick as she took over the lead from Litton.  Daniels would lead the rest of the way to pick up her first feature win.  Litton held on for the second spot.  While Kaila Zahn finished in third.  Litton won both of the heat races.
 
The box stock feature proved to be exciting as well.  Tyler Olson started on the pole and was the early leader of the race.  We would lead until the third lap when Tyler Majeski grabbed the lead.  Majeski would then show the way until lap nine when Tristan Peebles jumped to the front of the field.  Peebles led for the duration of the race on his way to his first win of the year.  Majeski finished in second, while Hunter Parsons finished third.  The heat races were won by Peebles, Olson, Parsons, and Collin Buege.
 
Brett Swedberg took the early lead in the stock lite feature race.  Ninth place starter Kirk Quaintance quickly began working his way through the field and caught Swedberg.  On lap thirteen Quaintance passed Swedberg for the lead.  Swedberg stayed right on the back bumper of Quaintance and passed him back for the lead on the next lap.  Swedberg was able to hold on for the win.  Quaintance finished in second, Eric Klafka took third.  Swedberg, Nathan Horsens, and Josh Long won the heat races.
 
Brandon Reichenberger continued his dominance in the controlled stock class as he led every lap of the feature race.  The win was the fifth of the year already for Reichenberger.  Josh Kernosky finished second in the race.  Nick Moeller grabbed the third spot.  Reichenberger and Moeller picked up the heat wins.
 
In the junior flathed feature race Tanner Wunderlich took the early lead.  On lap three Parker May took over as the leader in the race.  May was able to hold on for his first win of the year.  Wunderlich finished in second place, one spot in front of Randall Wilhorn.  Wunderlich and Garret Strachota won the heat races.
 
Andrew Theis grabbed the lead at the start of the stock heavy feature and went on to win his first feature of the year at the GSR Kartway.  Justin Flaig finished in second.  Andrew Hock finished third in the race.  Theis and Flaig won the heat races.
 
In pro junior animal action Cheyenne Cameron was the early leader.  Her lead would last one lap before giving way to Johnny Whitman.  Then on lap three Alex Hock took the top spot from Whitman.  Hock led the rest of the race on his way to his first feature win of the season.  Cameron and Whitman finished second and third.  Hock, Cameron, Whitman, and Jesse Colwell won the heat races.
 
Aaron Milavtz led the entire race for his first animal pro feature win of the year.  Milavitz was trailed across the line by Brett Swedberg and Lacy Yarie.  Milavitz and Yarie were the heat race winners.
 
A season high seven lawnmowers were on hand to do battle at the track.  Steve Arndt swept the action by winning the heat race and leading every lap of the feature.  Brian Peters finished in second.  Newcomer Jerry Schoenhiede took third.
